Uepl. of Natural Resources <br />Regarding your letter of October 20, 1983, I submit the following data: <br />A-1 Thank you. <br />B-1 Legal should read SE', SW; and Lot 5 Section 27....... <br />C-lA One for topsoil for future reclamation and one for soil <br />overburden other than topsoil. <br />C-16 Within plant and stockpile area shown <br />C-1C 3h; lv <br />C-1D Yes, they may, and will be seeded as per your species <br />recommendation of page 3 of your letter <br />C-2 Full depth of gravel to_ bedrock of shale varying from <br />23' to 27' deep. <br />C-3 Yes, assumption is correct <br />C-4 See answers to C-lA <br />C-5 Irregular pit floor will be done to extent that oversize <br />material is available from pit excavation. <br />C-6 Until gravel source is depleted which will depend on <br />activity in the area - could be five to fifteen years. <br />D-1 Scarifying or ripping of process area prior to seeding <br />will be done. <br />D-2 Soil-overburden was intended to mean topsoil in this case. <br />D-3 We accept your recommended species. <br />D-4 Yes. <br />E-1 I could agree with your increased yardage and cost, but we <br />will already have completed almost all of the present <br />permitted reclamation ~•~hich is no~•r covered by $188,000 bond <br />leaving ample coverage for the $55,000. reclamation at such <br />time as it is required. <br />E-2 See answer above (E-1) -you are correct. <br />Respe tfully, <br />~~~~~ <br />Warren E.
