Long <br />Division Director <br />(Permit No. C-89-074) <br />No. 13 (Discontinue Well Monitoring) <br />Pursuant to Title 34, Article 33, of the Colorado Revised Statutes, the <br />Division of Minerals and Geology hereby issues notice that on January 27, <br />1995, a technical revision application for a permit to conduct coal mining <br />operations by Rimrock Coal Company, 1390 Ash Street, Denver, CO 80220, was <br />deemed complete for the purposes of filing. All reviews and comment periods <br />as provided in the Act and Regulations promulgated thereunder initiate from <br />this day of filing. <br />The applicant proposes to revise surface coal mining operations at the Rimrock <br />Strip Mine. The technical revision addresses the discontinuance of well <br />monitoring. <br />The mine permit area is located approximately three miles east of Trinidad, <br />Colorado, in Section 29, Township 33 South, Range 63 West. This tract of land <br />is shown on USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle map of Trinidad East. <br />A copy of the technical revision application is available for public inspec- <br />tion at the Las Animas County Courthouse, 200 East First Street, Room 104, <br />Trinidad, Colorado.
