<br />PUBLIC NOTICE
<br />Somerset Mining Company, P.O. Box 535, Somerset, CO, has submitted an
<br />application for a Technical Revision, to the Division of Minerals and
<br />Geology, for its Somerset and Sanborn Creek Mines, mining permit No. C-
<br />81-022. The proposed revision provides for the installation of a reclaim
<br />system for the east yard coal stockpile and will allow the Sanborn Creek
<br />mine access road to be routed to the south of the coal stockpile area.
<br />The mine Bite is located north of the town of Somerset, CO. The North
<br />Fork of the Gunnison River is located south of the town of Somerset. The
<br />mine permit areas are located on the U.S. Geological Survey 7.5 minute
<br />Bowie and Somerset Quadrangle maps.
<br />The Somerset Coal Mine permit area is located in portions of the
<br />following described lands.
