CO 80202-733 Dlvisian Director <br />Re: Yoast Mine (Permit No. C-94-082) <br />Permit Revision Application No. 1 (PR-1) <br />Provides Life-of--Mine Plans for Mining & Reclamation Operations <br />Dear Mr. Kline: <br />The Division of Minerals and Geology hereby issues notice, in accordance with Title 34, Article 33, Section 118, <br />Paragraph 3, of the Colorado Revised Statutes, that on March 8, 1999, an application to revise coal mining operations <br />at the Yoast Mine was considered complete for the purposes of filing. All review and comment periods as provided <br />in the Act and the Regulations initiate from this date of filing. <br />This permit revision provides the updated, detailed life-of--mine plans for the mining, reclamation and related <br />operations for the Yoast Mine past the existing five-year permit term. <br />The surface coal mining operation is on land located approximately 7 miles southwest of Hayden, Colorado. The <br />permit area is further described as follows: <br />T6N, R87W, Portions of Sections 28, 29 and 32 <br />TSN, R87W, Portions of Sections 5, 8, 16, 17, I8, 19, 20, 29, 30 <br />The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle maps of Mt. Harris & Dunckley <br />A copy of the revision application is available for public inspection at the Routt County Courthouse, Box 773598, <br />Steamboat Springs, CO 80477, and at the Division office.
