•
' EXHIBIT K
' CLIMATE INFORMATION
BRADBURY PIT
' The climate is marked by a wide seasonal range. Sudden or severe weather changes aze infrequent,
mainly due to the high ring of mountains azound the valley. This protective topography results in a
' low annual precipitation of approximately eight (8) inches. The nature of the valley and its
locatioq with typical valley breezes, provide some spring and fall frost protection, resulting in an
average growing season of 190 days from April to October. Although temperatures have ranged to
' a high of 105 degree Fahrenheit, the usual strmmer temperatures range in the middle 90's in the
daytime and to the low 60's at night. Relative humidity is usually low during the growing season.
' Local climatogical data from the Grand Junction station is shown on the attached sheets.

1

t
1
