III IIIIIilllllll III <br />999 <br />NOTICE OF PROPOSED DECISION <br />The Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology proposes to Withdraw Technical Revision Application <br />No. 36 for the Eckman Pazk Mine (Permit No. C-81-071), submitted by Colorado Yampa Coal <br />Company. The revision proposed to allow pond M remain as a Permanent Impoundment. The <br />Division of Minerals and Geology found Colorado Yampa Coal Company's application incomplete. <br />The information necessary for the Division's review was not subsequently submitted. CYCC requested <br />the application be withdrawn on February 7, 1997. The Division has withdrawn the application for this <br />review. <br />This proposed decision is based on a finding that the proposed operation will comply with all <br />requirements of the Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act, Section 34-33-101, et seq., C.R.S., <br />and the regulations promulgated thereunder. <br />Copies of the proposed decision, aze on file for public inspection at the Colorado Division of Minerals <br />and Geology, Room 215, Centennial Building, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, Colorado 80203, and at <br />the County Clerk's Office in Routt County, P.O. Box 773598, Steamboat Springs, 80477-0000. Persons <br />with an interest that may be adversely affected by the proposed decision may request a formal heazing <br />before the Mined Land Reclamation Boazd on the proposed decision. Such request must be made <br />within ten (10) days of [he initial publication of this notice, must be in writing, and must state with <br />reasonable specificity the reasons for the request and the objections to the proposed decision. <br /> <br />
