On June 5, 1997 the Division of Minerals and Geology approved the
Technical Revision application submitted to the Division on March 24,
1997, addressing the following:
Phase II leach pad area is expanded by 22 acres of which 14 acres will
be lined and approximately 15,00,000 tons of leach pad constructed.
The terms of the Technical Revision No. 25 approved by the Division are
hereby incorporated into Permit No. M-80-244.
The conditions of the Division approval are noted below. Please note
that all other provisions of Permit No. M-80-294 remain in full force and
effect.
Stipulation No. Description
16 CC&VG will submit an additional financial warranty
in the amount of $4,855,198.00 for the reclamation
of the added leach pad area to the Phase II pad.
Once the removal of the Carlton Mill Building is
completed, the added financial warranty will be
adjusted to reflect the change. No solution to the
added pad area can be applied until the required
financial warranty is posted with the Division and
written approval is granted.
The revision will not be final until the bond is approved by the
Division.
