<br />160-Acre Lease Modification
<br />Dear Mr. Kesterke:
<br />The Division of Minerals and Geology hereby issues notice, in accordance with Title 34, Article 33,
<br />Section 118, Paragraph 3, of the Colorado Revised Statutes, that on May 23, 1996, an application to revise coal
<br />mining operations at the Sanborn Creek Mine was considered complete for the purposes of filing. All review
<br />and comment periods as provided in the Act and the Regulations initiate from this date of filing.
<br />The proposed revision will incorporate a 160-acre federal coal lease modification and 20-acre right-of--way area
<br />into the mine plan and permit boundary. The overall permit boundary for the mine will also be revised.
<br />The underground coal mining operation is located north of the town of Somerset, Colorado. The permit area
<br />is further described as follows:
