<br />et-013. Permit renewal was approved by the
<br />Division on July 12, 2084.
<br />The New Eik Mine is located ap-Prozimatery
<br />7 miles west of Weston, Colorado on State
<br />Hwy. 12, wihin Sections 13, 14, 2i, 24, 26.
<br />26, 27 and 28, TS33S, R68W. Thesq sec-
<br />flonscan be located on the USGS 7.5 Mnute
<br />Vigil and Weston quadrangle maps. A total of
<br />147 acres of surface tlisturbance from mining
<br />related activity is coverall by a Corparate
<br />Surely Bond in me amoum of $2.114,649.
<br />The Division of Minerals and 4eology has
<br />recalculated the bond requirement for'the
<br />New Elk Mine and has proposed a new bond
<br />amount of $3,152,233.08. The operator has
<br />proposed me retention of several mina roads
<br />for post mining land use. This may reduce the
<br />reclamation bond requirement
<br />The techniral revision is on file for publlo
<br />inspection at the Las Animas Ccunty
<br />Courthouse, Office of County Recorder and
<br />wah the DNision M Minerals and Geology
<br />Any written comments, objections or
