Statement for Cedar Creek Gravel Pit M-77-407, 112 Conversion '`~+[~ g ~ <br />°~!' <br />Dear Mr. Clark <br />Earth/Stone Ltd. has been retained as a consultant to Montrose County to assist in the Gravel <br />Permitting process for a expansion of an existing aggregate source. Montrose County has tiled <br />application with the Division of Minerals and Geology (Dh1G) for a 112 Cottversio~t application <br />for construction materials. This site is a permitted active 1 10 mine site (less than 10 acres) that <br />will be expanded to an ultimate of 93 acres with 25+/_ acres active and unreclaimed at any one <br />time. 1 am requesting an updated wildlife statement to address the expansion of the site. A copy <br />of the existing wildlife statement is attached. t have also included a copy of the mine plan and <br />reclamation plan and the associa[ed maps. <br />t am subject to a short time schedule with the DMG and would appreciate your efTitns to <br />accommodate that schedule if at all possible. if you need additional information or would like to <br />further discuss the project please call. ]n the event that difficulties or delays should occur please <br />contact me at earliest time possible.
