Long Division Director The Division of Minerals and Geology hereby issues notice, in accordance with Title 34, Article 33, Section 116, Paragraph 4, of the Colorado Revised Statutes, that on November 22, 1996, an application to revise coal mining operations at the Trapper Mine was considered complete for the purposes of filing. The revision was submitted by Trapper Mining Inc. All review and comment periods as provided in the Act and the Regulations initiate from this date of filing. The revision proposes to modify existing reclamation seed mixtures. A copy of the submittal cover letter is attached. The Surface coal mining operation is on land located approximately six miles southwest of Craig, Colorado. The permit area is further described as follows: Township 5 North, Ranl:e 90 West Portions of Sections 5 and 6 Township 5 North, Range 91 West Portions of Sections 1, 4, and 5 Sections 2 and 3, ALL Township 6 North, Rant;e 90 West Portions of Sections 30 and 32 Section 31, ALL Township 6 North. Range 91 West Portions of Sections 21, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, and 32 Sections 33, 34, 35, and 36, ALL The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle reap of Castor Gulch.
