Box 1550 <br />Meeker, CO 81641 <br />Re: Receipt of 112 Reclamation Permit Amendment Application, Meeker Pit, <br />Permit No. M-76-038 <br />Dear Mr. Conrado: <br />We have received your amendment application for the Meeker Pit located in <br />Rio Blanco County. All comment and review periods began on May 26, 1992. <br />The decision date for your amendment is scheduled for August 24, 1992. <br />Within ten (10> days after submittal, you must publish notice in a newspaper <br />of general circulation in the locality of the proposed mining operation once a <br />week for four consecutive weeks. Immediately after the first publication, <br />mail a copy of the notice to all owner; of record of surface rights to the <br />affected land and all owners of record of lands that are within 200 feet of <br />the boundary of the affected land. ?roof of the notice and mailings, such as <br />Certified Mail - Return Receipt Requested, must be submitted to the Mined Land <br />Reclamation Division prior to the decision date. <br />The Division is reviewing your amendment to determine whether it is adequate <br />to r:.eet the requirements of the Act.
