_,
Mr. David Berry, CMLRD
February 12, 1990 - page 2
As a measure to further reduce the potential for excessive erosion from this
site a single or series of sediment catchments (ex straw hay bales, rock
structures, silt fence,or other appropriate measures) will be placed near the
downstream toe of the topsoil stockpile within a small diversion outlet that
directs runoff from the pile to the undisturbed drainage bottom. Hay bales
will no longer line the topsoil stockpile nor will sediment catchments be
installed or maintained in the undisturbed drainage bottom. Permit page 4-248
(enclosed) is revised to reflect current erosion control measures for this
small area exemption. I also note a typographical error in SAE4. The total
disturbance consists of .7 acres, not 7 acres as is reported.
David, we will have these measures in place by June, 1990, ox sooner, weather
permitting. If you have any questions concerning this revision, please con-
tact me.
Sincerely,
~~GGCfi1tr~ ~v
William Agnew
Sr. Environmental Engineer
WA/~j b
[CMLRD\FEB12]
Enclosure
c: J.M.
