GENERAL NOTES <br />1) CONCRETE <br />Concrete has been designed and shall be constructed in <br />accordance with the American Concrete Institute Bulliding <br />Code (A.C.I. 316 -33 and A.C.I. 301) "Specifications for <br />Structural Concrete for Buildings". Section 1.3 "Inspection" <br />of A.C.I. 316 -33 M deleted in entirety, sec "Field Observations" <br />paragraph. All concrete, except as noted otherwise, shall be <br />of stone aggregate concrete, 3,000 psi minimum compressive <br />strength at 28 days. All concrete in contact with son ehari be <br />of type If cement with tricalcium oluminote less than 5k. <br />2) REINFOC;CING <br />Reinforcing le to be new bClet pi A.S.T.M. A615, Grade 60 <br />except ties end bars to be well shall be grade 40. The design and Installation of any <br />required bracing or shoring shaft be by the contractor. <br />6) SHOP DRAWINGS <br />The contractor than submit shop drawings for concrete mix <br />designs end concrete reinforcing for engineers review prior <br />to fabrication. Any fabrication done prior to return of shop <br />drawings will be at controctor's risk. Submit one sepia and one <br />print of drawings and two espies of Shop drawings chill be submitted <br />through the architect for distribution, unless prior arrangements have <br />been made, to as to allow 1 v, lna days �yw time by the <br />structural en£lneer.
