Long <br />Dwimon Director <br />The Division has received Grand Valley Coal Company's (GVCC) submittal of <br />identification of interest for the Munger Canyon Mine. During the Division's <br />Applicant/Violator System (AVS) check of the submitted information several items <br />required clarification. These are as follows: <br />AOI Coal Company is listed as a shareholder owning more than 108 of <br />Adobe Company in the AVS database. This information was not <br />submitted in the information GVCC supplied to the Division. Ia AOI <br />Coal Company still a shareholder in Adobe Company2 Zf eo, please <br />submit the information regarding AOI Coal Company. <br />Page Fs-1 dated 12/28/92 lists Thomas Baumgarth and Eric Urbanowicz <br />as officers of GVCC. The Secretary of State's office also has these <br />two gentlemen listed as directors of GVCC. This information is not <br />defined in GVCC's submittal. If they are in fact directors of GVCC, <br />please revise the appropriate page to indicate that they are <br />directors ae well ae officers. <br />The Applicant/Violator System indicated that a sum of outstanding <br />fees are owed by Adobe Company. Included with this letter are the <br />printouts of these fees from the AVS. The Division has a Memorandum <br />of Understanding with the Office of Surface Hining that the State <br />will not issue or transfer a permit to companies responsible for or <br />owned by a company owing outstanding fees. The total amount of <br />these fees is 5109,084.21.
