Woods Seepage Ditch. His water court decree
describes the location of the ditch in an area west of the property associated with this permit. The
decreed use of the water is only for irrigation on lands owned by I.C. Woods. Based on. prior
discussions with Mr. Glass, the area he still irrigates is southwest of our property. We Have added
the location of the ditch to the map of our mining plan only for the purpose of showing ,:he return
flow to the river.
As illus[rated on the enclosed map, our mining plan does not adversely affect the ditch. A dike
was left in the 1987 amendment were the ditch return flow runs to the river. The phase:. in the
mining plan do not intercept the flow of the ditch. As you observed during your inspection,
mining and reclamation have continued to follow the permitted plan.
If you have any questions, or if this does not satisfy your corrective action request, plea:;e notify
me at (303) 657-4331.
Sincerely,

Julie Goettemoeller
Land Manager
cc: John Pinello, Northern Division
