Notice to the Board of the Morgan Conservation District <br />Morgan County, Colorado <br />Washington County has applied to the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Boazd to <br />expand an existing gravel pit, known as the Nicholson Pit, from a 110 permit containing <br />9.9 acres, to a 112 permit containing 49.9 in Morgan County. The attached information <br />is being provided to notify you of the location and nature of the proposed operation. The <br />entire application is on file with the Division of Minerals and Geology (the "Division") <br />and the local county clerk and recorder. <br />The applicant/operator proposes to reclaim the affected land for rangeland. Pursuant to <br />Section 34-32.5-116(4)(m), C.R.S., the Boazd may confer with the local Conservation <br />Districts before approving of the post-mining land use. Accordingly, the Board would <br />appreciate your comments on the proposed operation.
