EXHIBIT A -Legal Description
The original 110 permit encompassed 9.9 acres in the SW 1/4 of the SE 1/4 and a portion
of the NW I/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section 24, T6N, R55 W. The converted pit will expand
to a total of 49.9 acres, encompassing most of the SW 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section 24,
and a portion of the NW 1/4 of the SE 1/4, a portion of the NE 1/4 of the SE 1/4, and a
portion of the SE 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section 24, all in T6N, RSSW of the 6th P.M.,
lying in Morgan County, Colorado and generally located approximately 3 miles northeast
of Messex, CO. The extremities of the pit boundaries will be marked with visible
boundary markers.
