In the 2 meetings with the Water Quality Control Division, there
was no request for obtaining a water discharge permit. For protection against an
unforeseen event, a water discharge permit will be applied for to cover all
possibilities.
Surface water is prevented from discharging from the property by the combination
of surface contours and storm water control structures. The surface contours
direct the surface water flow towards the centerline of the permit area and
downward towards the bottom of the permit area. The storm water control
structures direct water toward the centerline of the permit area. A storm water
control structure at the bottom of the property stops surface water from flowing
off the property.
The tailings will not be disposed of in the contour depression area. The tailings
will be disposed of in the surface mining area.
xxxxx~~xxx~~xxxxxxXXxx~xxXXXxX„X~xxx,x~XxxxXXxxxx~xxxXx:XXxxxxXXXX:,xxxxxzXXXXxx~xxx
i3ob FF.«
Bob Hill, DGMC owner and operator
dmg-19 \ dgmc 2 3/7/95
