The revision was subntted by MINREC, Inc.. All review and <br />comment periods as provided in the Act and the Regulations initiate from this date of filing. <br />This proposed technical revision to the Permit C-81-025 Application Package reconciles acreages of disturbed reclaimed and <br />disturbed un-reclaimed areas of the permit area, describes those features within the disttubed areas that have been designated as <br />permanent feattues, describes postmining land use areas, and clarifies other minor items in the permit application package. <br />The Underground coal mining operation is on land located approximately 10 miles Southwest of Carbondale, Colorado. The <br />permit area is further described as follows: <br />T8S, R89W; Portions of Sections 21, 22, 27, 28, 33, 34 and 35 <br />T9S, R89W; Portions of Sections 2, 3 and 4 <br />T7S, R88W; Portions of Sections 20, 29, 30 and 32 <br />The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle mlaps of Stony Ridge and Carbondale. <br />The applicant is required [o publish notice in a local newspaper that this application has been deemed complete. At the lime of <br />publication of this notice, the applicant is required to place a copy of this application at the Ga~eld County Courthouse, 109 <br />8th St Ste 200, Glenwood Springs, CO 81601. There is one on file at the Division office. For additional information or to <br />provide written comments, contact the Division of Minerals and Geology, Room 215, 1313 Sherman Street. Denver, <br />Colorado 80203, (303) 866-3567. in order for us to comply with regulatory time frames, we request that comments be <br />submitted within fifteen (15) days of this letter.
