Mount, Senior Environmental Protection Specialist <br />RE: Logan County, Kokes Gravel Pit (formerly Melvin Kokes Pit), Permit No. M-1978-249 <br />Please be advised that on October 25, 2001, Logan County, whose address and telephone number are 315 Main St., <br />Sterling, CO 80751; (470) 522-0888, filed an application to convert M-1978-249, Kokes Gravel Pit (formerly <br />Melvin Kokes Pit), a 110(c) Limited Impact Construction Materials Permit to a 112(c) Regular Construction <br />Materials Permit. The mining and reclamation operation is located at or near Section 34, Township 12N, Range <br />49W, 6th Prime Meridian, in Logan County. The application decision is scheduled for January 23, 2002. <br />A copy of the application is available for review at the Logan County Clerk & Recorder's office and at the office of <br />the Division of Minerals and Geology, Room 215, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, Colorado 80203. <br />If you desire to make comments or objections, they must be submitted within twenty (20) days of the date of the <br />newspaper public notice to be considered in [he application review process by [he Division. You should contact <br />the applicant for the newspaper publication date.
