For reclaimed pasturelarrl, cover and production will be oa~ared to cover and <br />production on the pastureland reference area. For rangelarrl, a weighted average <br />• will be generated for cover and production for all the reclaimed sites in the <br />affected area and for all the corresponding reference areas. Roth a weighted <br />average and pooled variance will be oa~guted using the Wyoming ~.. ~r+~~ of <br />FhviLrormlental Quality, Lard Quality Division, Guideline No. 2, March 1979 <br />revision. <br />Pastin:elard production data will be collected by clipping life forms and the <br />single species Medicaao sativa (alfalfa). Zhe various life forms will be <br />clipped, oven dried, and weighed to the nearest 0.1 gram. Zhe life form <br />categories include chnih, pPr'Pnnigl gr••^^, annUdl gra~c, tr~arannial forb, alfalfa, <br />biennial forb, annual forb, and undesirable ~~*+*+~al forb. <br />Zhe approved shrub density ~tarda**~ for rangeland is 1000 stems per acre (see <br />State Program submission dated June 4, 1982 accepted August 4, 1982).
