M-86-140 <br />Page 2 Division of Minerals & Geology <br />Other than the above-described Technical Revision, no other changes in the existing <br />approved mining/reclamation plan are involved. Specifically, the information contained in <br />Exhibits A through L in the existing mining/reclamation plan are unchanged. These <br />exhibits describe the ownership and location of the property, the mining plan, and the <br />reclamation plan; and they provide other data pertinent to the approval of the <br />mining/reclamation plan, as required by regulation. <br />Further, demonstration of geotechnical stability of the final pit slopes under the existing <br />approved mining/reclamation plan and under this Technical Revision is not required <br />because the final pit walls are at slopes of 3:1 or flatter, and the nearest man-made <br />structure, a storage building, is more than 400 feet away from the Wright Pit. <br />14. The surface areas added to the <br />permit area have been, or may be, affected by the mining operation. No other changes <br />in the reclamation plan are requested or will be made. <br />The Operator hereby waives the right to a decision on the requested Technical Revision <br />within 30 days of the submittal of this request. <br />
