Regarding Structural Demolition Items:
a) All PCB transformers have been removed from the site. In
addition, NCIG commits to submitting a statement to the effect
that this has occurred and in the future there will be no
PCB's on the mine site.
c) The pipe will be only 300 feet in length, nat the 2000 feet
estimated and will not be made of steel. Composition of the
pipe is yet to be determined.
d) This item is no longer to be in the permit. The permit
pages need to be revised to reflect this.
2. The Vulcan Mine tipple will be investigated further by Peter
Matthies with the Colorado Historical Society, contact - Jim
Green, to determine what NCIG Financial, Ines reclamation
responsibility for the tipple site may be.
3. The engineering specifics concerning the thickener have been
altered from those currently described in the permit. The
pages need to be revised to indicate the current/planned
dimensions of 20'H x 145'Diameter with the holding capacity
for 1.5 million gallons.
In addition, Peter Matthies has agreed to forward the exact
engineering specs for the thickener to the Division.
There followed a discussion on contracting a bond review consultant
by NCIG Financial, Inc. No decision was reached.
