Boz 187, Crag, <br />CO 81626 (CDMG Permit No. G81-010, <br />approved 12137102), intends to request <br />release of Phase III band liability on 763.2 <br />acres of its reclaimed mine lands: A surety <br />bond in the amount of $25,900,000.00 is <br />presently in place. No reduction in the <br />amount of the bond is sough) with this bond <br />release application, although a is requested <br />that bond liability be reduced by $38,181. <br />Those portions of the mine for which Phase <br />III bond release liability is requested contain <br />185.5 acres of croplands and 577.6 acres of <br />rangelands reclaimed from 1987 to 1995 that <br />have been retopsoiled, reseeded and hydro- <br />logically stabilized in aaordance with CDMG <br />regulations. A perennial native <br />grass!forblmountain shrub community has <br />been eslaWished to achieve Ihepos1-mining <br />land use of rangeland.
