Change in Sand and Gravel Operation to Increase Permit
Boundary and Extend a Proposed Stockpile Area.
Enclosed is an updated sand and gravel operations map (Exhibit C) for the Williams Fork .
Company showing the proposed permit boundary and topsoil stockpile extension. The
permit boundary increase would accommodate the establishment of a permanent truck
scale within the access road at the north end of the permitted mining area. The increase
would ensure that light duty vehicles would not drive around the scale resulting in a traffic
pattern outside of our permitted corridor. The proposed permit area increase is .18 acre.
Additionally, the Williams Fork Company proposes to increase the extent of a proposed
stockpile east of our active mining area. The stockpile as shown on the enclosed Exhibit C
map, is elongated in a northerly direction and out of our proposed future mining areas.
The increase in stockpile extent will allow for a more direct scraper haul when salvaging
topsoil.
Bruce, if you have any questions or concerns, please call.
WA/jb
[CMLRD~AUG21]
Enclosure
c: J.M.
