CCCD raised
this issue in its letter to you dated February 17, 1999.
As is shown by the enclosed exchange of memos between CCCD consultant Scott
Mefford and BMRI consultant Jim Finley, BMRI has agreed to:
(1) drill a second new well that will supplement the one which was the subject of my
February 17 letter. The new well, to be known as SF-5, will be drilled in the Santa Fe
formation within a 100-foot radius of PW-2.
(2) the first new well, drilled by BIv1RI within days of the Board's oral order, and
referred to in the attached memos as "SW-4," will be monitored.
