I believe that the Board should
not approve a berm that has been explicitly opposed by local authorities and citizens, especially
because the objections concern public health and safety. The City of Boulder, the County of
Boulder, and citizens of Boulder have all expressed written and verbal objections to current
approval of this berm. The safety and floodplain implications of the modified berm are currently
being investigated.
I hope that the Board will err on the side of public safety and public input and not accept this T.R.
for the Deepe Pit.
Thank you for this opportunity to comment.
Res .tf ull
J y yours,
"n91
Bunin, PhD
