A potential for severe erosion and
depositional changes to the et ream channels of Foidel and Middle creeks could
occur as a result of changes in stream gradient due to subsidence.
The Bureau of Land Management recommends that DMG require TCC to submit a
revision to the permit in order to address reasonable measures to control
headcutting, erosion, and ponding in the event these conditions become
excessive to the point that the hydrologic balance of the affected streams may
become impaired.
If you have any questions, please contact Janet Hook at (970) 824-4441.
Sincerely,
Joh E.
