Deaguero <br />6851 Niagara Street <br />Commerce City, Colorado 80022 <br />Via Certified Mail P 194 728 176 <br />Dear Mr Deaguero: <br />This letter is [o notify you, as an adjacent landowner, that Basin Resources, Inc., .14,300 Highway l2, <br />Weston Colorado 81091, the operator of Golden Eagle Mine Permit number C-31-013, is filing for Phase <br />I Bond release with the State of Colorado, Division of Minerals and Geology. Permit C-8I-013 was issued <br />by the Division on June 22,1994. <br />The Golden Eagle Mine is located in Sections 20, 21, 28 & 29, T33S, R67W. A total of 59 acres of surface <br />disturbance from mining is covered by a Coal Reclamation Bond in the amount of $1,530,000. The <br />permittee is applying for and Division guidelines allow for the release of up to 60% of the total bond <br />amount in a Phase I Bond release. <br />l The Golden Eagle Mine ceased production on December 31, 1995.
