The sampler conforms to ASTAd D-1566 and has <br />an inside diameter of 2 inches. <br />if the California Sampler is unsuccessful, the sacend rypa of tube sampler will be tried. This wi'.1 <br />wnsist of Lexan Plastic Liners within an NQ advancing rod. 'l'he NQ drill rod will be pushed or <br />driven to a predetermined depth. Once the depth has heen reached, the l.e7tan finer will be <br />retracted, weighed, and measured. Wet density values will be deer;ninetl in the field.
