Crosby e~ <br />Environmental Protection Specialist <br />Division ofMinerals & Geology <br />1313 Sherman Street, Rm. 215 <br />Denver, CO 80203 ` <br />Re: Colorado Marble LLC., Lily Mines (Permit No. M-1987-028) (CHS #147114) <br />Deaz Ms. Crosby: <br />This is to acknowledge receipt of your wrrespondence dated Ianuary 12, 2006 (received by our <br />office on Janu cyZ concerns a project listed above. <br />Based on the maps and information provided, a search of the Colorado Cultural Resource Inventory <br />indicated that two cultural resowces that are eligible or potentially eligible for the National Register <br />of Historic Places (NRHP) are located within or very near the proposed permit area. Site SCF330 <br />(Lilly Mine, Last Chance Claim) was officially determined eligible on April 5, 1992. On that same <br />date it was determined by ow office that additional data was need to determine the NRHP eligibility <br />of SCF1095 (Garfield Mine, Little Annie Claim). <br />Should hwnan remains be discovered during mining activities the requirements under State law <br />CRS 24-80 part 13 apply and must be followed. <br />Thank you for the opportunity to comment.
