The revision was <br />submitted by Western Fuels-Utah. All review and comment periods as provided in the Act and the Regulations <br />initiate from this date of filing. <br />The revision addresses a reduction in subsidence and hydrologic monitoring. <br />The underground coal mining operation is on land located approximately ten miles east of Rangely, Colorado. <br />The permit area is further described as follows: <br />Township 2 North, Range 101 West. 6th P.M. <br />Portions of Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 10, 11 and 12 <br />Townshia 3 North, Ranee 101 Wes[, 6th P.M. <br />Sections 21, 22, 23, and 26 through 36 <br />The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle map of Rangely NE. <br />A copy of the technical revision application is available for public inspection at the Town Clerk's Office in the <br />Rangely Town Hall, and at the Division office. For additional information or to provide written comments, <br />contact the Division of Minerals and Geology, Room 215, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, Colorado 80203, <br />(303) 866-3567. In order for us to comply with regulatory time frames, we request that comments be submitted <br />within fifteen (15) days of this letter.
