Long
Division Duecinr
The Division received your response to our adequacy review for
Technical Revision Tr-002 on September 26, 1997. After reviewing
your letter, we have some additional concerns which are listed
below.
1. Your response is adequate.
2. The Division recommends that you clean the adit wall to
improve the surface for bonding before pouring the cement.
Our suggestion is to scale off any loose wall material, sand
blast the wall, pressure spray the affected area and remove
the material with a vacuum.
In addition, we recommend that while pouring the cement wall,
you tremie the cement around the extended discharge pipe to
eliminate gaps and pockets. Please respond.
3. The Division has evaluated the cost to remove the cinder block
and concrete wall during reclamation. Our figure is based on
the cost to hire a contractor to complete the work and
utilizes cost data included in Means Site work and Landscape
Cost Data.
1. Demolish the block and concrete walls $ 850.00
(see enclosure)
Congested Site Factor - add 200% $2,550.00
2. Concrete and debris disposal 2.5 yds.
