<br />Dear Mr. Allard:
<br />Pursuant to Title 33, Article 34, Paragraph 3, of the Colorado Revised
<br />Statutes, the Mined Land Reclamation Division hereby issues notice that on
<br />July 06, 1987, an application for renewal of a valid, existing permit to
<br />conduct coal mining operations, Permit No. C-81-010, by Trapper Mining Inc, /I
<br />Box 187, Craig, CO 81626, was deemed complete for the purposes of filing.
<br />A11 reviews and comment periods as provided in the Act and Regulations
<br />promulgated thereunder initiate from this day of filing.
<br />The applicant proposes to continue conducting surface coal mining operations
<br />at the Trapper Mine located approximately 6 miles south of Craig Colorado on
<br />portions of Sections 5 and 6 in T5N, R90W, portions of Sections 1, 4, and 5
<br />and all of Sections 2 and 3 in TSN, R91W; portions of Sections 30 and 32 and
<br />all of Section 31 in T6N, R90W; portions of Sections 21, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29
<br />and 32 and all of Sections 33, 34, 35 and 36 in T69, R91W.
<br />The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle map
<br />of 0000. A copy of the application is available for public inspection at the
<br />Moffat County Courthouse, 221 W Victory Way, Craig, CO. Written comments,
<br />objections or requests for an informal conference on the application may be
<br />submitted to, and additional information obtained from, the Mined Land
<br />Reclamation Division, Room 423, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, Colorado 80203,
<br />(303) 866-3567: Written comments, objections or requests for an informal
<br />conference must be filed at the Division by 5:00 p. m., within thirty days
<br />after the last public notice in the local newspaper.
