This revision is for the relocation of the upland clean-water
diversion and the addition of a third topsoil stockpile.
The upland diversion is to be relocated up slope approximately
50 feet in elevation. The relocation is needed to adequately drain
the undisturbed runoff around the refuse stockpile area on the east
end and to accommodate topsoil salvaging on the west slope face.
The new ditch line will be constructed with the same cross
sectional area as the current ditch.
The new topsoil stockpile will be located west of pond 005.
This stockpile is to be located on the area currently identified as
the landfarm area. The soils in the landfarm have been
bioremediated and are available for fill. The topsoil stockpile
will be placed on the area vacated by the landfarm soils. Drainage
for this area reports to pond 005. The topsoil for this stockpile
will primarily come from the RDA topsoil salvaging operations.
Both areas will require no additional bonding due to their
location on previously bonded areas. Please call if you have any
questions or require additional information.
Sincerely,
Ral p 2
Environmental Engineer
