MCC proposes to install 1 1/2 - 2 <br />inch diameter PVC pipe from the surface to total depth for ventilation purposes during <br />proposed shaft construction. (The construction of the shaft will be permitted in the near <br />future.) The drillhole will be sealed with a bentonite slurry from the PVC pipe to the annulus <br />of the borehole. If the hole will not be needed, it will be closed according to Rule 4.07. <br />MCC has the right-to-enter site EE-twin through the BLM's acceptance of the Box Canyon <br />lease area, COC-56447, in June 1995. This information is included in Exhibit 4 in MCC's <br />permit. Please find enclosed the Decision Memo from the USFS and the Biological <br />Evaluation completed by the USFS. <br />The approval of Minor Revision No. 183 stipulated that drilling could not be initiated at site II <br />until approval was given by the USFS. Please consider this stipulation complied with through <br />Minor Revision No. ] 87 with the inclusion of the Decision Memo from the USFS dated June <br />28, 1996. <br />8.
