• <br />3-inch diameter, "Highway-Grade" PCPE pipe, as manufactured by Advanced Drainage <br />Systems, Inc., or an equivalent approved by MANAGER, DESIGN ENGINEER and <br />CERTIFYING ENGINEER. <br />C. Low Volume Solution Collection Pipe: <br />l4-inch diameter solid SDR 11 HDPE pipe. <br />2. 4-inch "Highway Grade" perforated corrugated polyethylene (PCPE) pipe, as <br />manufactured by Advanced Drainage Systems, Inc., or an equivalent approved by <br />MANAGER, DESIGN ENGINEER and CERTIFYING ENGINEER. <br />D. Underdrain Pipe: <br />12-inch diameter "N-12" PCPE pipe, as manufactured by Advanced Drainage Systems, <br />Inc., or an equivalent approved by MANAGER, DESIGN ENGINEER and <br />CERTIFYING ENGINEER. <br />PART 3: EXECUTION <br />3.01 INSTALLATION: <br />A. CONTRACTOR shall install pipe according to MANUFACTURER'S recommendations. <br />• <br />B. CONTRACTOR shall take all precautions necessary to not damage the pipe during material <br />placement. CONTRACTOR may periodically be requested by MANAGER to verify that <br />covered pipe has not been crushed. Costs associated with proving pipes have not been crushed <br />shall be borne by CONTRACTOR. <br />C. Piping shall be placed to the lines and elevations shown on the DRAWINGS, with no sags or <br />humps, as approved by MANAGER and CERTIFYING ENGINEER. <br />3.02 PIPE CONNECTIONS: <br />A. All connections for non-perforated pipe shall be watertight under maximum anticipated pressure <br />head. <br />B. The ends of all pipe shall be capped with a manufactured pipe cap. <br />C. All connections in non-perforated pipe will be watertight. <br />D. HDPE pipe will be butt-heat-fusion welded in accordance with the MANUFACTURER'S <br />guidelines. <br />E. PCPE pipe joints shall conform to MANUFACTURER'S recommendations. <br />3.03 BEDDING AND BACKFILL: <br />A.
