Mountain Coal Company (MCC) would like to relocate these poles
along the existing light-use road located to the south of this area prior to the start of the bench
construction and prior to the next longwall move (scheduled within two weeks and requires full-
time ventilation, i.e. the fan cannot be shut down to move the power line). No new disturbance is
anticipated other than brush-crushing the western-most line corridor (a dozer width for about
300') from the east portal retaining wall to the existing light-use road to the southeast, in order to
string the line, and azound the poles which require guy-wires.
Please advise MCC as to whether or not a revision is required to proceed with this work. Contact
me should you have questions.
Sincerely,
~'~ ~~.~-
Kathleen G. Welt,
Environmental Supervisor
