<br />z <br />2. Hydraulic pressure testing of the intact rock will be performed to <br />measure the rock permeability. A single packer positioned at the top <br />of the rock will be used. Measurement of the static water level in <br />the rock will be made during test. <br />Piezometer Installation <br />C 1. A standpipe-type piezometer, using 1 1/2 inch PVC oipe, will be <br />used. <br />(~ 2. A screened or slotted tip of approximately S to 10 feet length <br />I- will be used. The slotted length will be surrounded with a well- <br />graded sand and a bentonite seal placed above and below it. <br />~. 3. The location of the slotted length will be selected by the field <br />engineer.
