Box 535 <br />Somerset, Colorado 81434 <br />Re: Adequacy Review, MR-19, Haul Road Guazdrail, Terror Creek Loadout, Permit No. C- <br />83-059, Terror Creek Company <br />Dear Ms. Welt: <br />The Division has completed its adequacy review of Terror Creek Company's (TCC) submittal <br />dated January 21, 2002 for MR-19 for the Terror Creek Loadout. Please note that the Division's <br />records show that this revision is MR-19, not MR ?0. which was on TCC's submittal and on the <br />Division's completeness letter to TCC. The following are the Division's questions and <br />comments: <br />Reclamation Bond Liability <br />Attached is the reclamation cost estimate for MR-19. The estimate is comprised of two <br />tasks (a demolition task and a summazy task) and represents an increase in liability of <br />$9,758.00. Please review the reclamation cost estimate and inform the Division as to <br />whether TCC finds the estimate acceptable or unacceptable. <br />2. TCC's current liability is $237,526.00. With the approval of MR-19, the revised <br />reclanlation liability would increase by $9,758.00 to $247,284.00. However, the Division <br />holds an approved bond of $246,755.00, which would be deficient by $529.00 when MR- <br />19 is approved. Please submit additional bond of $529.00 to cover [he increase <br />reclamation liability cost for MR-19. <br />Text and Maps <br />3.
