Comment by James Stevens
1. Consideration should be given to adding samples of the leak detection system to the
bi-weekly sampling program. This was previously done on a monthly basis, but with
the increase in cyanide levels in the pond, a higher sampling frequency seems
resonable.
2. Well M-2 is listed for both bi-weekly and quarterly sampling. It shoulid be removed
from the quarterly list.
3. As a reasonable extra precaution to increase the accuracy of sample results and
eliminate any possible effects of contamination by equipment, the sampling sequence
should be from those monitoring points historically having lower values of cyanide
to those having higher levels.
M:\MIN\BMGPROTO
6/I/92/SCG
