The revision was submitted by NCIG Financial, Inc.. All review and comment periods as provided <br />in the Act and the Regulations initiate from this date of fding. <br />This proposed technical revision (revision) provides for removal of an approximately 400-foot-long by <br />25-foot-wide strip of ground from the permit area. This action reduces the permit boundary to areas <br />south of County Road 335. This azea was a corridor for a water pipeline from the Colorado River to the <br />facilities azea of main permit area. There was no disturbance to soils or vegetation in this area of the <br />permit. <br />The underground coal mining operation is on land located approximately 7 miles West of Glenwood <br />Springs, Colorado. The permit area is Curther described as follows: <br />T6S, R91W; Portions of Sections 1 and 12 <br />T6S, R90W; Portions of Sections 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 15 and 16 <br />The above-mentioned tracts of land aze shown on USGS 7.5 minute guadrangle maps of Storm King <br />Mountain and New Castle. <br />A copy of the technical revision application is available for public inspection at the Gar[ield County <br />Courthouse, 109 8th St Ste 200. Glenwood Springs, CO 81601, and at the Division office. For <br />additional information or to provide written comments, contact the Division of Minerals and Geology, <br />Room 215, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, Colorado 80203, (303) 866-3567. In order for us to comply <br />with regulatory time frames, we request that comments be submitted within fifteen (15) days of this <br />letter.
