Because Henderson is seeking conditional approval of a conceptual alternative reclamation plan for the tailings impoundmern, Henderson rs not seeking a specific change in the FW for the facility in AM-04. The FW for the dry cover plan remains in effect. The only changes to the FW for the tailings facility being sought through this Amendment are changes relative to changing the post-mining land use throughout the Permit area to "rangeland" with a stocking rate for lodgepo]e pine of 50 trees or shrubs per acre per Section 3.0. 3.0 CHANGES 1N THE FIIVANC'IAL WARRANTY; AM-04 The comprehensive FW for Henderson presently is being recalculated by the DMG based upon input from Henderson. Henderson submitted TR-IZ on September 4, 2002 and and Operational and General Clarifications Report in October 2002 to the DMG following receipt and analysis of DMG's FW cost recalculation for the operation. Changes in the FW proposed for this Amendment entail two specific items: 1) reduction in tree or shrub plantings to 50 lodgepole pine/acre throughout the Permit area and, 2) elimination of the costs for demolition of the two mine site buildings as described in Section 2.3 including the required infrastructure and support facilities on 20 acres of the mine site. Maintaining the two buildings described reduces the total FW by $1,602,247 based upon DMG's initial FW cost recalculations prior to Henderson's TR- 12 (not yet approved).
