Trapper Mine's Annual Report for 1996 is composed of eight sections. Section l.0 reports 1996
reclamation activity as specified in Section 2.04.13 of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board
Regulations for Coal Mining. All appropriate maps are enclosed.
Section 2.0 is the Annual Hydrology Report and is composed of eight subsections.

Section 3.0 is a report on Trapper's drainage reconstruction efforts 1987-1996. It consists of a narra-
tive segment describing our reconstruction methods and results as well as a map showing the loca-
tions of our drainage reconstruction efforts minewide. In 1996, approximately 2,500 feet of drainage
reconstruction was performed in East Pyeatt Gulch and West Pyeatt Gulch. Approximately 1,000
feet of drainage repair or enhancement occurred in East Pyeatt Gulch.
Section 4.0 is the recontoured spoil sampling section. This section includes site specific spoil
analysis data and a map showing spoil texture and sample identification numbers for Ashmore pit
only.
Section 5.0 is a narrative and map showing topsoil stockpiles constructed in 1996 and proposed 1997
topsoil stockpile locations. Additionally, the map has been updated to show all existing topsoil
stockpiles minewide with appropriate identification numbers. The narrative and accompanying Table
5-I describes topsoil stockpile locations, size and approximate volumes.
• Section 6.0 is the stock tank and dozer basin section. This section contains a narrative and a map of
stock tank and dozer basin locations. Table 6-1 reflects the revised as-built stock tank density.
