<br />EXHIBIT A <br /> <br />Legal Description and Location Map <br />9.9 acres in the SEl/4SE1/4 of Section 36, Township 8 South, Range 56 West <br />EXHIBIT B <br />Site Description <br />(a) Vegetation & Soil Description <br />The vegetative description in the general area of the pit location consists mainly of a <br />mixture of native grasses and miscellaneous forbs. The predominant grasses consist of <br />blue grama, buffalo, and three awn. Forbs are a native mixture of annual and perennial <br />forbs. <br />Soils consist of Fort Collins-Schamber Complex, 5 to 25 percent slopes. <br />Fort Collins loam is more than 60 inches deep with a lighter colored surface layer and <br />slopes of 5-10 percent. Landform: Hills; frost free days: 135-15~; available water <br />capacity in inches: 8.6-12.1; Major considerations: None; Landuse may include: None <br />listed. <br />Schamber very gravelly sandy loam is more than 60 inches deep with a lighter colored <br />surface layer and slopes of 10-25 percent. Landform: Hills; frost free da}•s: 135-I55; <br />Available water capacity in inches: 2.0 2.7; Major considerations: Slope; Landuse may <br />include: None listed. <br />(b) Structures: <br />The only permanent or man-made struc[urres within 200 ft. are an existing barb-wire <br />fence and Lincoln County Road 3 J. Lincoln County would be responsible for any <br />possible damages to these structures. <br />(c) Water Resource: <br />The nearest major stream is the Big Sandy Creek located about five miles away. The <br />whole site drains [o this stream, and will continue to drain to this stream. <br />(d) Wildlife Statement: <br />The site is prairie rangeland utilized for cattle grazing that also supports typical rangeland <br />bird and animal species. As a wildlife evaluation is not required fora 110 permit. No <br />request was made for a formal evaluation by the Division of Wildlife. However, given <br />the small size of the operation, the fact the property is used extensively for cattle grazing. <br />It is unlikely that this operation would have any permanent impact on wildlife in the area <br />or on the site. <br />
