<br />PUBLIC NOTICE <br /> <br />Pursuant to the requirements of C.R.S. 34-33-116 of the Colorado Surface Coal <br />Mining Reclamation Act, this publication constitutes notice of the Colorado <br />Mined Land Reclamation Division's proposed decision to approve a Technical <br />Revision request to Permit No. C-81-010. The revision was requested by <br />Trapper Mining, Inc., P. O. Box 187, Craig, Colorado 81626. <br />Trapper Mining, Inc. is proposing to modify its ground water monitoring <br />program for the Trapper Mine. <br />Trapper Mine is located 8 1/2 miles south of Craig, Colorado, on State Highway <br />13. The affected areas to which the technical revision applies is in Sections <br />26, 27, 28, 32, 33, 34, and 35 of Township 8 North, Range 91 West; and <br />Sections 2, 3, 4, and 5 of Township 5 North, Range 91 West, 6th of P.M. <br />The USGS 7.5-minute quadrangle map which contains the affected area is Castor <br />Gulch. The technical revision addressing these proposed activities is on <br />display at the Moffat County Courthouse Clerk and Recorder Office for public <br />inspection. <br />Any requests for a hearing regarding the proposed decision of the Division <br />must be received in writing within ten (10) days to: Colorado Mined Land <br />Reclamation Division, Room 423, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, Colorado 80203, <br />phone 866-3567. The request shall contain a brief and plain statement of <br />facts which indicate the requester may be adversely affected, and briefly <br />summarize the issues to be raised by the requester at the hearing. <br />/ddt <br />2225E <br />
