Cattany <br />Division Director <br />Natural Resource Trustee <br />In accordance with Rule 3.03.2(2) of the Rules and Regulations of the Colorado Mined <br />Land Reclamation Boazd for Coal Mining, you aze hereby notified that the Division will <br />be conducting an inspection of the Carbon Junction Mine on November 9, 2004 at 9:00 <br />am. The purpose of the inspection will be to evaluate completion of all aspects of the <br />reclamation glan in the azea requested for bond release in application SL-2. If you wish <br />to attend the inspection, please contact me for specific details. <br />The coal and land within the coal permit boundary is private. Bond release application <br />SL-2 is a request for Phases I, II, and III release of approximately 64.5 acres of the 156- <br />acre total disturbed area. The approved post-mining land use of the bond release azea is <br />industriaUcommercial (gravel pit).
