PAGE 2
MARCH 1, 1994
BARBARA PAVLIK
• Drainage structures for the area shall consist of "V" ditches located on both sides
of roadway area. Run-off from the storage area will be directed down the "V"
ditches to the RP-2/3 Sediment Pond (the east side ditch is currently routed into
the pond). Permit Map 77 has been revised to show these drainage structures.
Also, the culvert at the north end of the proposed storage area is shown to extend
into the RP-2/3 pond area, and is currently installed as such.
• Once the road is not needed for temporary storage of refuse, the surface will be
graded to its original state for future use as a haul road.
• A 3-foot minimum berm will be constructed at the northern extent of the storage
area to divert run-off from the roadway area into the "V" ditch and RP-2/3 pond
(see Map 77 for location and Typical Berm Detail).
• The "V" ditch along the east side of the road, which is currently established, will
protect the subsoil and topsoil piles located east of the road from contamination
by the refuse storage run-off.
Three copies of Map 77 are enclosed for your files. Copies of the SEDCAD runs and revised
permit page will be submitted later for insertion in the permit document once the T.R. 34 for the
revision of the permit document text is approved.
If you have any questions, please call.
Sincerely,
Murari P.
