These inspections were conducted by Mr. James Dillie of <br />Division of Minerals and Geology. Thi law applies to <br />all areas exposed after December 31, 1980. Since the ground water system in the area of these <br />pits is over appropriated, this law applies. <br />Please contact our office by July 12, 1996, to discuss your plans to mitigate this <br />comply with the statutes. Failure on your part to contact our office may result in <br />additional steps to gain compliance, which may include legal action. <br />I have enclosed a copy of the draft guidelines that our office has developed for <br />supply plans for sand and gravel pits.
